Blissful Guided Meditation

Preparation for meditation:
  • Sit comfortably in Sukhasana  on a mat on floor in a quiet, clean, roofed and airy room.
  • Lights may be switched off.
  • Avoid meditating when you are sick or near a sick person. Avoid meditating in public places or open places or in temples.
  • You can meditate anytime convenient for you but not when you are tired or feeling sleepy or have just eaten a meal.
  • Keep your eyes closed throughout the meditation.
  • Ignore all thoughts, sounds and other disturbances.

Who can do Blissful Guided Meditation?

Blissful guided meditation can be done by anyone above the age of 14. Proper initiation by a trainer is necessary before doing this meditation.

When can one do Blissful Guided Meditation?

Blissful Guided Meditation is best done when you are feeling tired or exhausted. However, it can be done at anytime except when you are ill or your stomach is full.

Process of Blissful Guided Meditation

May the whole world live in peace, prosperity and harmony.
We are going to be doing Nithyananda (Blissful) meditation.
May the Almighty Force purify the atmosphere around us.
May the almighty force descend upon our body and soul and purify the same.
Salutations to Mother. Salutations to Father. Salutations to Guru.
Meditate in Agna Chakra for five minutes.
Meditate in Thureeya Chakra for five minutes.
Breathe out. Spread the life force energy from head to toe.
Breathe in. Spread the life force energy from toe to head.
(Repeat breathe in and out cycle for 25 times.)
Spread the meditated energy throughout the body and soul. May they be purified.
By the grace of the divine bliss, we shall all live in good health, long life, enough wealth, peace, prosperity, fame and wisdom.
Blessings to life partner.
Blessings to children one by one.
Blessings to brothers and sisters.
Blessings to close relatives and friends.
Blessings to those who help us in our daily duties.
Blessings to even those who think they are our enemies that they too must change their hearts and live in peace, prosperity and wisdom.
May there be abundant filling to the brims of all water bodies in this world.
May the whole world live in peace, prosperity and harmony.
May there be peace between us, amongst us, within us and all around the world.
